Stem stiffness changes how the front of the kart loads up under steering input — softer stems give more compliance, harder stems a more direct response — making this as much a tuning part as a spare. Many racers carry more than one grade and swap depending on grip levels.
All three grades are stocked at Velocity Kart Shop, Eastern Creek Sydney. We ship Australia-wide and can fit and align them in the race workshop.
