Cadet bodywork leads a rough life, and panel supports crack long before the panels themselves give up. A worn support lets the nassa panel rattle and sit crooked, so replacing it keeps the front of the kart tight and tidy. Being the genuine Rookie part, it matches the cadet panel's mounting geometry without modification.
