Hubs and spacers.
M6 grub screw for the rear wheel hubs on Kart Republic karts. The grub screws clamp the hub to the axle, and they are the reason your rear wheels stay where you put them.
Grub screws are torqued and released every time hubs are moved for track-width changes, so threads wear and tips mushroom over a season. Replace any screw that no longer bites cleanly — at three dollars it is the cheapest insurance on the kart — and always check hub screws in your pre-session routine.
