Jetting is a job for the right tool.

A jet driver with a matching support, so the jet is held square while you drive it in or out. Carb jets are soft brass and a slipping screwdriver rounds the slot in one go — at which point removing that jet stops being a screwdriver job and becomes a drilling job.
