MT brake cleaner — the workshop staple for keeping kart braking systems free of oil, grease and brake dust. Contaminated pads and discs are a common cause of a soft or grabby brake, and a proper solvent clean is the fix, not sanding pads on the shed floor.
Use it when changing pads, after any chain-lube overspray near the disc, and as part of a general brake service. Let parts dry fully before reassembly.
