The genuine Kart Republic caliper piston magnet for KZ front and Mini calipers. The magnet works with the caliper piston to control pad retraction, keeping the pads close to the disc for an immediate pedal without constant drag.
If your brakes have developed a long first stroke or the pads are dragging after release, the piston magnets are one of the first things worth checking during a caliper strip-down. They are standard renewal items in a thorough caliper overhaul.
