The genuine Kart Republic M8 pedal axle cage with rollers. This caged roller assembly is what the KR pedal pivots on, giving the pedal a smooth, free action instead of the gritty feel of a worn plain pivot.
Pedal feel is easy to take for granted until it degrades — a notchy or sticky pedal makes fine brake and throttle modulation harder than it should be. If a pedal no longer swings freely after cleaning and lubrication, the roller cage is due for replacement.
