The genuine Kart Republic master cylinder piston for OK-spec brake systems. This piston is what converts your pedal effort into hydraulic pressure, so its sealing surface needs to be in first-class condition.
If an overhaul reveals scoring, pitting or wear ridges on the piston, new seals alone will not save the rebuild — the fresh seals simply wear against the damaged surface. Fit a new piston with the overhaul kit, assemble clean and bleed with fresh fluid for a pedal that stays consistent all day.
