Vibration dampeners for mounting a kart ignition coil. Kart engines shake hard, and a coil bolted rigidly to the chassis or engine mount lives a short life — vibration is one of the most common causes of premature ignition failure.
These dampeners isolate the coil from the worst of it. Check them when you service the engine; perished or compressed dampeners stop doing their job long before they fall apart.
