The soft option in CRG's 50mm axle range: S20 specification, 1020mm long. Swapping to a softer axle changes how the rear of the kart behaves, making it one of the main tools for tuning rear grip.
Check axle straightness after heavy kerb use, and inspect keyways and bearing surfaces whenever it's out of the kart.
